RunSpecGuard answers fitment, price and installation questions on your storefront, using only the product information and official manuals you publish. No admin access. No order data. One private instance per merchant.
We demo live on your own storefront. Nothing is published until you say so.
None of these need your order data to measure. The moment a customer has to ask “will this fit my vehicle?”, the return risk is already on your books.
A customer states the wrong vehicle, or judges the fit themselves. Return freight both ways, a bad review, and staff time to sort it out.
A$200–400 per order“Will it fit?”, “How much?”, “How do I install it?” — answered again and again by people who should be selling.
Dozens of replies a dayThe question arrives after hours or at the weekend, gets no answer, and the customer buys from whoever answers first.
A lost order, silentlyIt is deliberately narrow. A fitment assistant that improvises is worse than no assistant at all.
Small enough to try, and reversible at any point.
| Step | What happens | Your time |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Demo | We run it live on your own storefront — nothing is published. You ask the hardest fitment questions you have. | 15 minutes |
| 2 · Your wording | You tell us: brand tone, warranty and returns wording, what to say when a part is not carried, which products to exclude. | 1 day, asynchronous |
| 3 · Go live | One line of code on your site, or we publish it for you. Then we run the acceptance test together. | 1–2 hours |
This is what onboarding actually looks like on a real store — a mid-size Australian 4WD and truck parts specialist.
Read this before anything else on this page. It is the part that matters when you are deciding whether to let a third party near your storefront.
| Your orders | We never see orders, revenue or fulfilment data. |
| Your customer list | Not read, not exported, not used for anything else. |
| Payment data | We are not part of any payment flow. |
| Admin access | No Shopify or platform credentials. We work from your publicly published product pages and manuals. |
| Other merchants | Each merchant's data and service are separate and invisible to one another. Your material is never used to serve another store. |
| Promises on your behalf | Warranty, returns and freight are answered in your own wording. Where you have given none, the answer is “please contact us”. |
Start with one store. Let the dashboard decide whether it continues.
Final pricing depends on catalogue size, material completeness and the features you need. Optional add-ons — additional languages, replacing an existing chat widget, integrations with your systems — are quoted on request. We always begin with a free demo and feasibility check, and “not for us” is a perfectly good answer.
No. Prices and links come only from the product information you publish. Freight, stock and some technical specs are not in your public material, so it answers “not listed — please contact us” rather than guessing.
No. We work from your publicly published product pages and official manuals. Nothing is installed in your admin, and we do not touch orders, customers or payments.
Keep it. The existing widget takes “I need a human”; this one answers “will it fit” first. If you prefer a single bubble, the existing one can be hidden in configuration.
A demo the same day. Three days after go-live the dashboard shows which questions were answered, which were blocked, and which nobody could answer — that last list becomes your content and stocking backlog.
The customer's own language by default. Additional languages can be enabled and are quoted by the number of languages.
Remove the snippet and your storefront is unchanged. Operation is month-to-month or annual, with no long contract.
Tell us your store URL and we will run a live demo on it — nothing published, nothing installed, and you set the questions.
